Core yarns are a combination of staple fiber and endless filament. The most common core yarn structure is multi-ply. Each layer of the yarn is produced by winding cotton or polyester fiber on endless filament polyester.

In this yarn structure, the strength of the filament polyester in the center of the yarn and the natural appearance provided by the cotton or polyester fiber wrapped around it and its effect on needle cooling positively affect the sewing performance. Looped sewing threads are used in high-speed sewing machines, in all types of clothing, especially in products that require high sewing strength.

While it is preferred in the weaving sector, it is preferred in the works that require high strength in denim, suits, shirts, silk clothes, leather clothes, uniforms and many other product ranges according to the fabric thickness, while at the same time it provides the opportunity to obtain high production performance.

While it creates strength in thick groups, it eliminates the hairiness problem after washing because it has thinner and less hairiness than staple fiber polyester in thin groups, and since shrinkage rates are minimized, it largely eliminates the problem of seam shrinkage after ironing, etc. heat treatments. It allows the use of finer needles and gives the stitch a more aesthetic appearance.
